I have recently updated my browser on my Windows 7 PC from Internet Explorer to Firefox and it is working fine on my user profile. However, our computer has a second user profile for my husband (in order to keep our i-tunes accounts separate) and when ever he tries to access the internet via the new Firefox browser he gets the following error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Assertion Failed! Program... File: Common/npn_gate.cpp Line: 267 Expression: pPluginShim For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts (Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled) Buttons:- "Abort" "Retry" "Ignore" I would really appreciate any help on how to resolve this issue in simple terms as neither me or my husband are very PC literate & I am at a loss as how to get the browser to work on this second user profile or even what the error message means.
