Foxfire 8 tools, general check "show downloads" clock "ok"and have to do ever time I open Firefox. Why?
Under tools, options, general, I check the box to show downloads then click ok at the bottom of the page. I download a file and this feature works fine. I close Firefox then re open and have go thru the same setup every time. Why does this not set this function?

I remaned prefs.js to prefs_1.js to remove the file and I can save preferences
