I am having problems with my Sync and bookmarks. I synced my bookmarks before wiping the hard drive. Now when I type in my email address to restore/get back my bookmarks, the box reads "already in use" I have my sync key. I need help. Help!!!!!

Sounds as if you are trying to create a new Sync account. You need to treat that software reload as a new device for purposes of Sync.
