What exactly is the problem? You are unable to connect to the internet with Firefox?

This can be caused by a firewall blocking internet access to Firefox. See Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. That link has a list of popular firewalls and how to configure them to work with Firefox.

Also see Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can

Hi there, im a TSR of one of the ISP. I had a customer having the same issue Internet Explorer that can connect to the internet while Firefox is not. We optimized Firefox, uninstall and reinstall and it's still not working

upon checking the internet of possible causes a lot of people are telling that its because of the firewall or security software maybe, but when we boot the computer in safemode with networking it still not working

so its not the firewall or sec software. ended up reinstalling OS.
