i cant add new bookmarks and history buttons are not working

There is no need to install the Torbutton extension in case of problems with lost bookmarks. You can skip that step if it doesn't apply (you do not have Torbutton in the first place). You can uninstall that extension via Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
