I agree. The new clean theme looks gorgeous, so long as you're just looking for something to gaze admiringly at. But the lack of visual cues makes it harder to use.

The old theme used high-contrast to indicate which tab was open. In the new theme, the open tab is harder to spot. Don't believe me? Gaze at the middle of your screen and try to see which tab is the open tab?

I use the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension because I need to access the same site with several different logins. The new theme makes it harder to see which container is being used with each tab. The only indicator is a pixel-thin line at the very top edge of the screen, far, far away from the content of the page.

The new theme is very pretty but harder to use. How can I revert to the old theme?

The "Photon Colors" theme by damagnat is a step in the right direction.
