Hello, When I run Thunderbird for the 1st time I saw these strange folders. Abzuklären, Hohe Priorität, Sonstiges. Having no idea what these folders serve for, I deleted them. But they are still kept in Deleted folder ... and I can't delete them from there. Any ideas ? Thanks

The names, in English, are Clarify, High Priority, Other. Are these folders created by default by an IMAP account provider? If you right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe, can you uncheck (unsubscribe) from unwanted folders?

Yes they were there when I opened Thunderbird for the 1st time. Yes I can uncheck folder in Subscribe options ... but I need these folders (please see attached screenshot). These folders are in English. I wonder how these German names appeared in my system ? I have nothing in German. The problem now - how delete these folder from "Deleted" (please see 2nd screenshot)

The German names could have been set up by default by the mail provider, nothing to do with TB. If you access the account through webmail, you might be able to remove them, or empty the Deleted folder.

No, I can't see german folders using webmail. Probably due to the fact that my webmail isn't in English, but in French ... at least there is nothing in the folder that corresponds to "Deleted"
