Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla within Firefox before posting. Info :FF version, Flash version, extensions, video card drivers to diagnose issues.
That option is not in the 57+ as there is built in security in the form of a Sandbox for processes in Firefox and other built in security.
Copy/Paste about:preferences#privacy into the Address Bar then Enter. make sure under Security that all 3 Options are Ticked. More Info button= https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-phishing-and-malware-protection-work
This does not mean you should not use usual Security software or Extensions.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
The redirect block was intended to help prevent users of assistive technology from losing their place. Hence, it is among the accessibility options. Here's how you can modify that setting:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste access and pause while the list is filtered
(3a) TO TURN OFF: If the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false
(3b) TO TURN ON: Double-click the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference to switch it from false to true
Success?
If you intend to turn this on and off regularly, I suggest using the following address and bookmarking it for future ease of access:
about:config?filter=accessibility.blockautorefresh

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the searchbar and look for the preference :
accessibility.blockautorefresh
and set its value to false to turn it OFF
or set its value to true to turn it ON
Then close and restart Firefox.
