n the past when Mozilla was my default home page, it displayed the Firefox logo. Now my home page looks like as I try to describe it to you. The tab cones up with am magnifier logo in blue instead of the round Moz. Fire. ;ogo. The body of the page is a light pale blue with a open circle with the Moz. Fire. colors, a long search bar followed with the word search and powered by ASK. Then under the search bar says quick links to your favorite links, under that show Mail,Yahoo,Facebook.you-tube,amazon and abot seven more sites. Is this now really a legitimate Mozilla Fire Fox home page>

hi technomom, no this has no relation to mozilla, but sounds more like a change possibly caused by adware on your pc.

  1. please go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
  2. also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
  3. finally, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner, which are specialised in adware and browser hijackers.

The default homepage is still about:home and the search uses the search engine you have set. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-your-default-search-settings-firefox
