Latest update defaults to showing message pane at bottom of screen. It is more useful if it on the Right hand side

When I open View, I do not have a "Layout" option. I am running v. 45.2.0. And I can't find any other way to move the message pane from the bottom of the screen to the right side. Can you help?

Hi llevitan

There are two ways of getting to see 'Layout'.

  • via 'Menu Bar': 'View' > 'Layout' > select: 'Vertical View'

OR

  • via 'Mail Toolbar': 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Layout' > select: 'Vertical View'

I'm presuming you do not have the 'Menu Bar' enabled, hence why you cannot see the first method offerd by amancesterman. So, either use the second method or enable the 'Menu Bar'.

To enable the 'Menu Bar':

  • via 'Mail Toolbar': 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > select: 'Menu Bar'

Menu Bar will show 'File', 'Edit', 'View' etc

Fantastic! Thank you so much.
