Firefox 8 opens the following 2 tabs at startup:

1. "Getting Started with Mozilla Firefox" (this is unwanted !! http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/central/)

2. my homepage (http://www.google.co.uk/)

How do I fix that ? Thanks, any help would be most appreiated.

Soluție aleasă

Thanks , I tried different ways resetting the home page several times in Options/General/Startup, none of it worked. I solved the problem by uninstalling Firefox 8, cleaning all remnants from the hard disk and the registry and then I re-installed Firefox 8.0.1 That solved my problem but thanks for trying.

If it happens again then try to remove the sessionstore.js file(s) in the Firefox Profile Folder.
