Hi, which problem is not fixed? You still get a page saying that the connection is insecure, or you can load the page but it does not work?

If it's a non-working page, is there any error message or other indication of the source of the problem? Firefox has two message consoles that may display information about security and script errors, and a network monitor which is useful for determining whether Firefox is requesting missing content and getting back error codes. You might already be familiar with these developer tools, but I'll point you to the relevant articles just in case:

For all three, it's useful to open the tool first, then reload the page bypassing the cache (Ctrl+Shift+r) to ensure complete logging and fresh requests.

thank you for always replaying fast and being helpful.... actually in the past i was getting the message that says page saying that the connection is insecure, then i click on advance and then my page opens and i can log in my panel... but the problem now is when i open my page, it keeps loading forever and never open and there is a note at the bottom which says performing a TLS handshake to 1.1.1.1 which is my ip note that 1.1.1.1 is just example,.. and actually im not familiar with these developer tools at all...

Is it possible Firefox is trying to access port 443 instead of port 8888 (or whatever)? I don't know whether the Network Monitor will show you that, or whether requests do not show up there until Firefox can make a successful handshake.

You would need another exception for that hostname:portnumber combination.

Could I suggest starting a new question about the crashes? This one's already onto the second page, so you'll get more help with a new question.

You can start a new question at the following link. Scroll down past the suggestions to continue submitting your question: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/new/desktop/fix-problems

And to supplement your description of the problem:

Report IDs? If you are getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox may have logged some data that would help track down the cause of the problem. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.

Safe Mode? Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features of Firefox that might make it more prone to crashing on some systems.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any less crashy?

I don't have any new tools/solutions on Firefox's side. You know how Firefox works with SSL.

If IP address exceptions are problematic, maybe you should create a hostname for your server? Perhaps adding that to the Windows hosts file will make the exceptions work more smoothly.

I think that is a different problem. If you watch the Network Monitor, can you see a particular request that is stalling?
