I need a contact phone number to help me get rid of PUP viruses on Mozilla firefox
When I ran my malware program it showed 127 PUP viruses associated with Firefox. I have had this happen several times and don't know how to get rid of them.

Sorry, Mozilla doesn't offer phone support.
hello, you may have malicious addons present. please try these steps:
- reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
- afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
- finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner and delete all detected items to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
Are that really viruses and not something less harmless like (tracking) cookies?
What location is reported for these files?
This is the second time I have sent this. The first time timed out and did not go through. Location is mostly Firefox. Is PUP short for popup? Some of the others that have PUP are optimizer pro and mysearchdial. Do I need them and if not how do I get rid of them. Also, do you have a chat option? You recommended Adwcleaner. Why?
pup = potential unwanted program, that might translate to adware or other dubious programs, that's why i have i've recommended running a scan with malwarebytes and adwcleaner because they are specialised in removing adware and browser hijackers.
Which malware program did you use?
I assume that PUP is the terminology that your software uses for pop-ups.
Can you attach a screenshot shot shows such a pop-up?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Di you try other malware scanners?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
