there must be some problem with ur adobe reader. Install again the adobe reader and try to read pdf. If not the problem solve ,please give more details like how it looks, what it says,u can open pdf file normally or not? Etc.
Adobe Reader 10.1.3 opens a pdf files perfectly but not from within Firefox. When I click on a pdf file on website nothing happens. For example if I go to http://www.trex.com/TradeUp/index.htm and then to the link under Pre-Qulify at the bottom of the page and then to Dealer forms that takes me to: http://www.trex.com/trex/groups/public/documents/document/tradeup_transcend_prequalify.pdf, I can not open or view this document. The same think happens for any pdf document I find in Firefox.
I do not see and option to install Adobe Reader as a Plug-in.
ok.understand ur problem. First,Go to [Menu] Tools/Add-Ons/Plugins and disable the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI 10.1.3 reader plugin. Then go to below link and download the updated version of the plugin. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/73/adobe-reader
i think it may solve ur problem.
If not.
Just disable the plugin.so that the paf will automically download to ur computer.
I disabled the PDF Viewer plug-in and set my Application preference to use Adobe Reader for pdf files. All is working fine now.
