If you reload with the resize event of the window, you will fall into the phenomenon of repeating reload forever.

Firefox for Android has a bug-like phenomenon that you can't see in other web browsers, Edge, Chrome, Opera, or Firefox for Win and Linux. This phenomenon occurs in Firefox for Android regardless of whether "desktop site" is "on" or "off" (*1).

  • 1: Not tested with browsers other than the above. I haven't tried Firefox for iOS either.

The phenomenon is a bug that if you reload in the resize event processing of the window, it will be reloaded permanently until you stop processing or close the browser. A simple code like the one below does this:

<script defer> window. addEventListener( "resize", () => { // The result is the same even if it is controlled by flags, etc. location.reload(); }, false ); </script>
