Correspondents column is now blank as are all e-mails in folders on Thunderbird

I have the latest version of Thunderbird 102.3.0 downloaded on 20-09-22. Since then Correspondents column has gone blank both on the main page and in all my folders. This is the first time this has happened. At first I could reboot my computer and the column would come back. Now each time I boot my computer the Correspondents column stays blank. I'm running Windows 10 that is up to date.

workaround is to downgrade to 102.2.2. see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1791751
