I need help importing Outlook 2007 data into the current version Thunderbird. I was able to import the data into Thunderbird Version 31.8 but when I go to Help | About Thunderbird it says it's the current version and there is no upgrade to current link.

I copied all the files from the V31.8 profile to the v91.8.1 profile. I then deleted Thunderbird installations, installed v91.8.1 and launched. TB launched and has been trying to do something for the past several hours.

Thoughts?

My guess is it is trying to read corrupt passwords. Unless you went through V68 on the way to upgrading, which it sounds like you did not.

I used v31.8 because I found it somewhere on the internet. I later found in a Mozilla KB that the earlier version was broken and v68 was the one to use to import Outlook 2007. All's well and I'm down at the bottom of the learning curve of TB. Thanks for the help.
