When I try to open a new page, I receive a warning from Firefox that I have to click on before the page will open. How do I stop that?

When, for example, I submit information to a site I'm navigating, I get a Firefox warning that I have to click on before the page will open. For example, I go to my bank site and try to open my account page - I get the warning. Or, I click on a link to a gardening site from my email, and the same message pops up (Upper right corner of the page). How do I turn that off?

See:

  • Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
