Firefox can display bookmarks in many places. Could you give a little more detail about the one that is missing? For example:
- Bookmarks button missing from the Bookmarks Toolbar
- Bookmarks Toolbar not displayed
- Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b) not displayed
Thank you.
When I click to "Restore Previous Session" link in "History" tab brings the browser with my previous session, but the "bookmark tab" under "Navigation tab" is not there, and I am not able to turn the tab on, even when I open another browser, so if I want to review my most frequent sites from the bookmark tab is a pain since I have to look on my bookmarks.
Thank you for your help
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
- View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
- Right-click empty toolbar area
Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
- check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar setup
In Firefox 28 and earlier, the Bookmarks menu button on the toolbar is hidden when the classic menu bar is displayed (since it is a duplicate of the Bookmarks menu on the menu bar). Could that be the issue?
