how do I remove the top sites screen and start browser on my bookmarks or choose my own home screen
I want to perminatly remove that annoying top sites screen and set my own home page....

hello, the question was likely referring to firefox on android.
it is currently not possible to set a custom homepage on android (this is a trade-off for technical reasons in order for the app to launch faster) - there is work going on to change the homepage screen though & this will most likely get rid off the top sites in the current form in a later version.
as a workaround in the meantime you could use the method described at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/950223#answer-407265
