In FireFox Browser unable to disable the Link Button (Anchor tag with image button) from JavaScript, where as in IE, i can disable through JavaScript.

The version of Firefox you appear to be running is not supported anymore and potentially exposes your system to attack.
Please update to either v3.5.18 or v3.6.16 by clicking Help | Check For Updates.
Can you give an example what you want to achieve and also post the JavaScript that you try to use?
