How do I move the Toolbars? I tried everything but Firefox makes it hard!

I've got Firefox 4.0 and I uninstalled my Google Toolbar and reinstalled it. I have the Yahoo & Google Toolbars and before I uninstalled the Google Toolbar it was on top and now it's on the bottom. I would like to move it back on top but I've tried everything and they won't move. I clicked on the customize feature and tried to drag & drop the Toolbars but it didn't work. Why does FireFox make it so hard? In Internet Explorer it's easy, you unlock the Toolbars then Drag & Drop the Toolbars where you want them and then you lock the Toolbars again and you're done. I think I moved the Toolbars when I had FireFox 2.0 but not since then.

Firefox has never had toolbars that could be moved in their entirety, individual elements yes, but not the entire toolbar.

There has been an extension of two over the years that allowed re-ordering the toolbars, but none is currently available for Firefox 4.0, AFAIK.

It is possible by using userChrome.css code, but I don't keep track of that type of code - my goal with Firefox is eliminating toolbars - getting UI down to one toolbar.
