Passwords
1. When I create a sign on for a new web site Firefox is no longer saving and auto filling the logon credentials. 2. Now when I load a website logon screen it is not always auto filling the stored credentials. Instead of auto filling now I must click on a displayed use rid to get the use rid field filled. I then have to click on the password credential to get the password auto filled.

Yes. I believe I have read every post ever written on passwords before I resorted to this post. The auto fill does not even work for MOZilla Firefox support. Attached are my settings
I have used Firefox for many years and it always worked till a couple of months ago.
Make sure that the Password Manager is still enabled.
- Settings -> Privacy & Security: Logins and Passwords: [X] "Ask to save Logins and Passwords for websites"
Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" - remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
This seems to work sometimes now with these settings but some websites do not respond. I need to watch it to determine what is the pattern.
