Thunderbird 68.3.1 COMPLETELY UNUSABLE..... Is there a simple fix or should I find a different accessible email client?

Being disabled inc dyslexia I need a simple, straightforward, clear path to larger fonts so I can use thunderbird or a suggestion for an accessible email client. I used theme font size changer. Now, I can't read anything! Starting to have a meltdown due to incomprehensible unhelpful answers to others queries. So, that is either 1) clear infallible step-by-step instructions to larger fonts in thunderbird or 2) A recommendation for an accessible email client. Maryam

It is three topics deep.

How about we try to simply it a bit.

Use the config editor to search for and modify the setting

layout.css.devPixelsPerPx

This setting has basically the same effect as changing the the zoom on a windows display. So the default of 1 is 100% so making it 1.25 might be a good starting point. Make your increases small as if you make it huge you will not be able to get to the menu etc to make it smaller.

You will need to restart Thunderbird to see the changes I think, as a lot of preferences in there are only read when the program starts.
