Occasionally messages not being saved in imap sent folder (yahoo) (win10)
Occasionally, When I send an email using my yahoo IMAP account the message does not appear in the Thunderbird sent items nor does it appear to be in the sent folder in the webmail client either. When I do a search I can find the email in Thunderbird but it is not complete and it does not show up when I click on it. I have found a small portion of the beginning of the email by doing a search and when I tried again I found the last sentence of it. Is this a know issue or is it a bug? Is my email buried in Thunderbird and can I retrieve it. I will try and find out if the intended receiver of the mail got the message.
Before when it happened, I found the email complete copied it into a new email and it went and second time around and as usual it appeared in the sent folder. I have found this to happen when saving Drafts as well they disappear but can be found by doing a search and it is hit or miss if all the text is there.
I am using Windows10 latest version

What happens if you change the name of the folder to which sent messages are saved, in account settings?
Thanks for answering, I haven't tried it would probably save them to the new file. The problem is intermittent. The intended receiver of the email did receive it. I have sent some emails since and they are being saved to the sent file.
I still have this problem it is intermittent. The sent message does not appear in the sent folder after the message has been sent. It can only be part found if I do a search and then if I click on the message it does not show up in the trail. This has happened again tonight.
I reckon it will still happen if I change folder.
