Sites like Tom's Hardware load then go blank

Whenever I search something on google and click on a link from Tom's Hardware, it loads the page then goes blank. If I type in directly their site in the address bar it is ok, but when I go to an article it does the same.

I am running Win 8.1, but had the same issues on Win 7. Does anyone else have this? :(

There are several potential causes for this, including:
  • an ad blocker removes the ad content from a full page overlay, but not the overlay itself
  • the page contains an anti-adblock script that conceals content to mess with you
  • the page uses a script to "fade in" its content but the effect fails for some reason (this site doesn't look that fancy)
  • a color mismatch such as white text on a white background (possibly caused by incompatibility with a high contrast Windows theme) -- if text is visible when you select all (Ctrl+a) this is the likely issue
When I try to view that page in my normal setup, using the NoScript extension, no matter how many permissions I grant for ad servers and tracking scripts, when I reload, the page keeps loading more. I'm not sure I'll ever get to the point that the page loads everything. (In Chrome, it seems like the page never stops loading...)

I tried to open it with IE and it worked... I have tried now with ADblocker off and it seem to have done the trick.. Though I find it odd for a site to use such methods...

Nonetheless, thank you for helping me! :D
