How to force web site to display desktop site Windows TabletPC
HP Elitebook 2760P Tablet PC Windows 7 Enterprise Firefox 48.0.2
Some of the sites I visit frequently have a mobile responsive web site that is supposed to display the desktop version on desktops and the mobile version on phones and tablets. The problem is that Firefox and/or the web sites consider my TabletPC a tablet when I want them to think of it as a desktop, especially when it's docked. If the site does not have a link to request the desktop site, is there a method within Firefox to do so?
Thanks.

According to one product listing, your screen resolution on the device is 1280 x 800. This may in the "tablet" range for the responsive design's style rules. To have Firefox report a higher screen resolution to the site, you need to zoom out of the page. With a keyboard, you can hold down Ctrl and tap the - key once, twice or three times, then reload and see whether the layout adjusts. Any difference?

I have spent almost 3 hours on this just today!
Now, if only I could get my own employer's web site to have a "Request Desktop site" link that would help.
I did the Ctrl plus - several times and then back up to something readable.
(I had tried Ctrl plus 0 several times to no avail.)
