while using the firefox browser, "new bookmarks" pop-up is constantly appearing, and interrupting my search. how do i stop this pop-up?

the pop-up for "new bookmarks" is an annoying distraction to my web search and other work on this web browser.

This popup is so annoying I stopped using Firefox! I tried singing up to Mozilla help and they have no info on this stupid gimmick.
