aspx url's
Using two computers containing up-to-date Windows 10 and up-to-date Firefox 88.0(64-bits) I try to get an url ending .aspx on my screen. The desktop shows a proper picture and the laptop shows all words and names separately on the first column of my screen. I guess there must be some difference in the Firefox adjustments between both computers, but could not find any. The string aspx does not appear in either about:config. Can anyone tell me how to adjust my laptop to show a proper display?

This usually happens if you block CSS files.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

Thank you for your elaborate answer! Disabling Ghostery did the trick. I'll try and see whether I can adapt some parameters to get the desired result.
