I have a problem and I’m tired of temporary fixes. When I’m running Firefox after awhile my system will start to slow down. When I check my system thru Task Manager at the top ‘apps’, Firefox will show a ‘very high’ usage. When I ‘Expand’ it, I could have 6 to 10 sub ‘apps’ of which one will show the ‘very high’ usage. I don’t know why but the only way too resume too normal speed, is to ‘end task’ the expanded app that shows the ‘very high’ usage warning. This action will immediately improve my speed but I have closed down (end task) something, and it negatively affects my e-mails. How can I find out what Firefox app is causing the ‘high usage’?

More than one process is normal for the current Firefox. http://www.ghacks.net/2016/07/22/multi-process-firefox/

Multi-process Firefox is codenamed "e10s". https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/multiprocess

Basically, an OOM (Out Of Memory) means the system is having issues with the RAM.

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020 Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/ in order to check the integrity of your RAM?

You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
