yahoo email from 2018 showing as arrived in 2020 since I needed to recreate my yahoo account on Thunderbird
Earlier in the year Yahoo suggested we recreate the connection from Thunderburd to use better security protocols which went very well until my mail started syncing. I was noticing so many emails arriving in my Thunderbird email box as of 2020 which actually i received back in 2018. I then realized the date they are showing as received is actually the date which they are being synced and not the actual arrival date. Here is a portion of the header of the email : X-Apparently-To: email@yahoo.com; Mon, 16 Apr 2018 14:42:23 +0000
I have tried repairing my inbox, deleting and recreating multiple times (and the received date is updated each time to show the new date).
I have reviewed my email via yahoo and gmail (via my mobile) and the multiple emails in question are sorted in the correct manner (and I also re added my yahoo account into my gmail app and it also synced correctly).
Picture shows emails received on 10/20/2020 but actually arrived on 4/16/2018
The issue; though i know is critical in any way but is frustrating as I am seeing all these older emails mixed in with new emails.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is unfortunate that Yahoo made such a botch of their user support advising folk to delete their mail, instead of changing the authentication method.
Note mail is addressed via the To: header and the date is in the Date: header field.
All header fields starting with X are basically ignored as they do not form part of the RFC for email. My understanding is the X-Apparently-To: is a yahoo affectation to place a BCC address into the message header.
