video not showing up on some sites
When I go to some sites (for example https://comicbook.com/starwars/2019/10/17/star-wars-galaxys-edge-walt-disney-world-reportedly-removes-star-wars-themed-names-food-items/?fbclid=IwAR2FnjoOP7T_YpJ80Mw9SK_ll2ZSl2-smZtR7-ZokOg5JCa37IRJEb--rwE) the "box" for video shows up, but no controls to run the video, not even the default image just a blank box.

Hi Kosh,
You could try disabling hardware acceleration.
To do this: Click the '3-bar' menu icon in your Firefox browser -> Options -> In the General panel scroll down to Performance -> uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available -> restart Firefox
If that doesn't work you could try starting Firefox in Safe Mode.
Starting in Safe Mode may resolve the issue by disabling add-ons that may be interfering.
To do this: Click the '3-bar' menu icon in your Firefox browser -> Help(?) -> Restart with Add-ons Disabled... -> Restart -> when prompted choose Start in Safe Mode{link} NOT Refresh Firefox{link}.
You may want to check if your graphics card is up-to-date: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

I can see the video if I disable Content Blocking by clicking the shield icon at the left end of the location bar.
Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Content Blocking is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console about what content is blocked
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/content-blocking
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
