Can't figure out why pinned tabs won't save
On system restart I lost my tabs. Instead old tabs from a previous session appeared in two separate windows. I then closed Mozilla Firefox 69.0 (64bit) and none of my saved (pinned) tabs came back just my launch page. I don't remember changing any setting specifically having to do with pinning, restoring, or saving sessions so I'm confused as to why my pinned tabs seem so to be behaving so oddly. Please help with any suggestions. I need to get this fixed so i can get back to not having to worry about important tabs becoming "lost" - In advance, yes I know I can get them back in the history this question is specifically centered around fixing this issue.

Pinned tabs are stored in sessionstore.jsonlz4 as part of session data.
You also lose pinned tabs if you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the browsing history.
- do not clear the Browsing History
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-browsing-search-download-history-firefox
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data
- clearing "Cookies" will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an Allow exception you may want to keep
If you use external cleanup software (CCleaner) then check the settings for Firefox.
