Why isn't there an option in settings to change download folder, or change storage?

So many people look up this topic and it's always running me out of space. This should be changeable under App Info (storage setting), or at least under settings in the user interface. I shouldn't have to mess with my config file and dish the wrong folder name, and newbies shouldn't be going in there.

Really?

Hi

I fully understand where you are coming from with this issue, but we are limited in some areas by constraints imposed by the Android operating system that Firefox for Android runs on.

This is something that we keep under review and hopefully can be address in a future update.

I can appreciate that the last major release broke things on your app, so you had to remove the options. I know I used to be able to move Firefox from internal storage to SS, now I can't, and didn't realize that to be the case.

But, at least there's is a techie work around for me, which I totally appreciate!!! Maybe someone could come up with an add-on app that does the config change for us?

Here's hoping!

Thanks for the response!
