For some reason my profile quit working on a Win7 computer. I can get my e-mails back but copying the abook.mab over doesn't recover my address book. How can I get my contacts back without having to enter them manually?

Were you using just Personal Address Book, or had you other user-defined address books?

I think you might need history.mab too (this represents Collected Addresses) and any user-defined address books would have names such as abook-1.mab and so forth.

But you'll need to import these user-defined address books, and the tool I know for doing this is

That didn't help. I would have used whatever the default was for saving addresses. I tried copying history.mab along with abook.mab to the new profile but I still don't have my addresses. I tried to import them but TB I really don't know where they are found. What file or files contain that info other than the ones already identified?

If the above article doesn't help you're either doing something wrong, or something is wrong with your address book(s).
