paypal transaction doesn't work
Why when i press the "View PayPal transaction" button at ebay NEVER direct me to the ebay translation id of this product but direct me to the this(See picture)
So what is the wrong and NOT redirect me to the correct paypal transaction?
Already asked paypal and tell me this is YOUR ISSUE/FAULT so what is the result of this?
It is not paypal or ebay issue cause with internet explorer 11 it work just fine but at your program DOESN'T(See picture)

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). While you are in safe mode;

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Then restart. Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?
Already try all these without any results so...
I don't use eBay, so I do not have personal experience looking up transactions.
If you compare between the page you get in IE and the page you get in Firefox, is it a completely different page, or does it seem that a section of the correct page is just missing in Firefox?
Is there any indication that Tracking Protection is blocking anything in the page? There would be a shield icon toward the left end of the address bar. More info in this article: What happened to Tracking Protection?.
This browser used to work w/o problems, now it is slow hanging and so on. Proposed solution does not work. Cannot pay using Paypal on Ebay. WTF should I do?
P.S: You are not using ebay. Great. I have the impression that supporters of Mozilla are living in a different galaxy... Is this a joke?
Hi grim666reaper, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person on Earth who doesn't shop on eBay.

Have you tried the steps in this article: Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix.
Cannot pay using Paypal on Ebay. WTF should I do?
What happens, exactly?
While we are working on this issue, you can use the Windows browser if you need to get access.
"What happens, exactly?"
I select Paypal among paying methods, I click on proceed and it does not load the login mask which in the same window. Or lets say, it starts loading it and then actually loading is never completed.
"While we are working on this issue, you can use the Windows browser if you need to get access"
Thanks, this I also figured out.
"Hi grim666reaper, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person on Earth who doesn't shop on eBay."
This I am also pretty sure, as otherwise some contributors would have already spotted this issue and fixed this bug. There might be some other contributors who might also live in a different world, but never mind.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Unfortunately I cannot try this out, because I have nothing to pay right now. Maybe tomorrow I will buy something. Remember I am living in this galaxy ;-)

I might have a PayPal account, but I would need to log into it and I don't have a login saved for it in Firefox or any other password manager. So I get a popup window as shown in the attached screenshot. Are you bypassing that step because you either are already logged into PayPal, or you have a password manager logging you in?
Exactly. This window appears, I fill out my login data, afterwards I push "Log in to PayPal" , it starts loading and never ends.

Dear all,
I still have the same problem. I have just updated Java, but it remains the same. Still cannot pay on ebay by paypal using firefox.
Would be great to have a solution regarding this issue. Cannot be that complicated if it works in IE11.
What Firefox version are you using?
Firefox v52+ disables all plugins except for Flash Why do Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat and other plugins no longer work? {web link}
I have the very same problem. I have tried manually putting the log-in details, also just letting the Password Manager insert the log-in info. I just did the 'delete history for one site' exercise still no luck it it is still 'hanging'. I was shocked to see that I had started this transaction on the 2nd September & still have not made my purchase. (it's now the 25th Sept!) ....You know, my friend Mr J Scher, you have been a great help to me over the past year, after I got my new computer & the dreaded WIN 10, & I am forever grateful, but....I am housebound, no car, I can only walk a few metres at a time & am in lots of pain, & after waiting for 4 years, just got one eye fixed (cataract surgery, where they insert a new lens) . I still have to get the other eye done. So I am sad to see that you appear to have little sympathy for those of us who need to buy on-line. I am very lucky to have a wonderful partner who will shop for me, but sometimes I need things that he has trouble finding, & I don't like to impose too much. But, if I can 'click', he will 'collect' (lol), this time, the option isn't there, so I need to get my items by mail. I have tried most things, but, I am still nervous about trying things, that, if they don't do or look like you tell me they should, I have no idea how to get myself out of the situation. ....Also, we are very poor, so cannot afford to pay a techie to come fix it for us, also that's why I buy from China, as it's usually postage free & a lot cheaper than what an Australian shop would charge. To date I have not had any problems with this system. For some years I was buying supplies through E-Bay, usually from China, also USA & UK, as I was trying to make jewellery to sell. I have had wonderful service from all concerned. So, something is wrong & I agree somewhat with Grim 666Reaper, it should not be this difficult to fix. I just do not want to use a different browser, mostly 'cos I have had problems with them in the past, but not usually with Firefox. I am out of ideas. How about you? please can you help? I am using FF V 55.0.3, BTW. Many thanks ....Sylvia .....

Note: v55 has been giving users problems. Reinstall v54.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox?cache=no Be sure to read everything here.
If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

Really??? This is your OFFICIAL ANSWER TO RETURN TO OLDER VERSION OF THE PROGRAM??? REALLY????????
I believe you MUST FIX that kind of issue with A LOT OF OTHER ISSUES mozilla firefox has and NOT ask us to return to OLDER version of the program.
THIS IS NOT AN ANSWER.

Hi Sylvia, I am not opposed to online shopping; I buy online from Amazon and other sites. I've even had PayPal process some credit card payments on other sites. My point was that I do not have any* personal experience with this problem or how it normally works between eBay and PayPal. Please don't take that as a lack of sympathy -- I've looked at it as far as I can go without buying something I don't need.
*Actually, I bought something from an eBay seller in June 2015. Too long ago to remember how it went.

Hi Gregory, one volunteer's suggestion is not necessarily an official answer. Usually the support articles provide any "official" answer there might be.
Instead of using a different version of Firefox -- which may not make any difference -- you can try to rule out all the usual reasons that sites stop working normally. If that doesn't work, you can use a different browser until someone figures out the source of the problem.
Well, why didn't you say that? That's the one thing about chat on-line that I dislike intensely. One never can 'feel' the nuances of face to face/chat on the phone when one is talking on-line like this. My apologies, really.....it's no good trying to be facetious on-line, doesn't work...sigh...Now, I have been trying to use another browser for my transaction, but having researched Edge, & knowing all the problems I had when I was using Chrome, & with all the warnings about IE, I am very reluctant to have to use either. Can you possibly foretell if anyone can find a solution in Firefox, anytime soon? Surely it cant be that difficult for the Uber Techies amongst you wonderful volunteers. I really only trust FF. I did end up making more problems than I had before I started last time I used the advice to start FF in safe mode. I totally got lost, in all the jargon & it took me days to get my browser back to how I like it. I am delighted to be able to see now, as you can imagine, but can only wish that my brain would be agile enough to learn new techie stuff at my age, sadly I am now 75.....I swill stop wittering on now, sorry....but this is all very frustrating for me. Thanks so much to everyone trying to help, I really am very grateful. Sylvia...
