Hi,

I love using Firefox. but I am really annoyed because some websites/webpages are not showing on Firefox but they work fine in Google Chrome?

BANKING SITE IN FIREFOX http://screencast.com/t/wsFCixj1

BANKING SITE IN GOOGLE CHROME: http://screencast.com/t/t3cecLJJupG

This is so annoying. Firefox SORT your browser issue sorted out because what is the point using your browser when some pages show up and some don't.

  1. I tried refreshing the page several times. DID NOT WORK.

Anyone know why Firefox has this issue?

Thanks

Hello, if you already try to clear both cookies and the cache and does not work, then try to deactive your anonymoX add-on to see if the problem is there.

to clear both cookies and the cache Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away which deactivate add-ons among others. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click Help Help-29 and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.

To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.

thank you
