It's as written..! Firefox's website recommends, features or lists plugins. When you try to donload some of them, Firefox blocks redirecting the "download" request to the appropriate site. Case in point today: Lazarus Recovery.

Waht is the user to tink? That the block is erroneous or that the featured plugin is not trust-worthy, in which later case why feature it?

Do you mean this?

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

Not helpful! It's not about just warning me; it's telling me it has blocked the redirecting to the source website. My choice is ignoring the warning, overidding it and taking a chance, or heeding it. If the plug-in is suspect, why feature it on Firefox's website? If it is not, then why the block (back to my original question...)?
