How can I get rid of the new *Bookmarks thing on the righthand corner of my Bookmarks Toolbar. It takes up needed space.
I don't want/need the new Bookmarks feature on my Bookmarks Toolbar that just duplicates the Bookmarks Menu at the top. It takes up space and reduces the number of bookmarks visible on the toolbar. is there a way to remove it?

Open Customize and drag that button down into the Palette. Note, when you open Customize that Bookmarks button will probably appear on the right-side of the Navigation bar, directly above where it normally appears on the Bookmarks Toolbar - that is normal when in the Customize mode.
When I open "customize" all my bookmarks shrink into this new "Bookmarks" folder and if I drag it away, I drag all of them away as well. Any suggestions? There is no point having a "Bookmarks" button on the bar when I can just go to the menu for this. I NEVER use the bookmarks menu, I only use the bookmarks that I have in my bar.
As I answered the "owner" of this thread:

You were dragging the Bookmarks Toolbar Items, which is the "container" for the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
