Since I moved from Windows XP to Windows 7, I have the following problem. When I want to open a pdf-file from oa website (any website), I get one of these messages: that the file can't be opened because the folder won't allow changes, OR the associated program does not exist. Both messages make no sense: I checked the appdata\temp folder rights (ok) and the associations (tried both Adobe Reader and Foxit). I noticed that Firefox stores the pdf file temporarily in the appdata\temp folder with a read-only mark. When I remove that read-only mark and go to Tools, Downloads then the pdf opens and shows. I also tried to change the dowload location, but that won't work; Firefox still saves the file in the temp directory. Is there a way to let firefox save the pdf without the readonly attribute? Or do I have to change some properties elsewere??

Seems nice, but.... Foxit won't do it either. Same problem as with Adobe reader!
