Bulk bookmark selection
My question is answered following. I've been looking for this answer for years so wanted to re-post it for the next query around this. Duh. Works the same as in Win Explorer. rorge_retson rorge_retson 11/22/15, 9:52 AM
Over time I have had so many tabs open that at that point I decided to simply "Bookmark All Tabs" into a folder that has [ ] around them, and named them by date, i.e. [11-22-15]. Now I have dozens of these folders, and want to put all of them into another, single folder, since my "Show All Bookmarks" library is a cluttered mess.
'My problem is, I cannot select multiple folders at a time to move them. Ctrl+Click, Shift+Click, nothing works to select more than one folder. And I have a lot of them.
Can anyone help? Chosen solution
Open the parent folder so its content shows in the right pane in the Bookmarks Manager (Library). Then you can select multiple folder and bookmarks in the right pane. In the left pane you can only select one folder. You should also be able to select multiple folders in the sidebar, but the Library is probably better as you have more control and can undo an action (Organize > Undo). Read this answer in context
