thats about it - cpu creeps up during session - mostly I'm aware of laptop fan working full time. usually about 25% cpu - but doing very little, just browsing around. If I end process with task manager, then restart firefox opens all the same tabs back up but isnt using any cpu time. Over time again it will build up to where it makes cpu fan on all the time and I repeat. Any ide as to what causes this or how I find out waht is doing it - and stop it? ff 50.1.0 windows7pro on dell laptop ss hd ; does this with no other programs open

What were you and the computer doing at the time? Same website, different sites?

How long before the problem?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
