search bar options pop up when typing in any text box, including this text box to type this, and hitting enter googles whatever i had in the search bar
everytime i try to type in any textboxt, or even check one of those check boxes, my search bar comes down with the google suggestions, and hitting enter on any text box googles whatever i have in the search bar. this is really annoying because I can't use the address bar anymore

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thanks for your reply, but when i check firefox today-i never closed out of my tabs since i asked this question- it was perfectly fine.
