After upgrade to firefox 14, when i click on links in the webpage, it opens page in source code not the page
When I upgraded to firefox 14, half my bookmarks won't open, and when i search from a page, half the time the results open in source code, not the page i'm looking for. I removed firefox 14, and went back to firefox 11. It still does the same thing. I even reset most of my bookmarks.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can try to check and repair the places database with this extension:
I also have the problem. And I didn't like version 14 for other reasons (such as I can't access the Add-ons page) so I :
- Downloaded version 13 from http://www.mozilas.com/download/firefox-13.htm
- Saved the bookmarks.
- Uninstalled version 14
- Installed version 13 removing personalization.
- Restored the bookmarks
- Went to Tools > Options > Advanced > Update and checked 'never check for updates'
The bookmarks then worked. But it, in spite of my efforts, it still updated it to version 14 when I restarted Firefox and the bookmarks stopped working again. I'm now trying to stop it upgrading from version 13 to version 14.
Version 14 is installed on my second computer and the bookmarks are OK on that.
Note that my main computer (which has the problem) has XP and the second computer (which doesn't) has Windows 7.
