I'm trying to migrate from an old OS/2 and Thunderbird 38 system to a new Red Hat Linux and Thunderbird 128 system. I think I've copied all the server settings faithfully, but when I try to fetch mail, nothing happens. If I open the developer tools->error console, it says:

pop3.server1.3: SecurityError: a SecurityProtocol error occurred Pop3Client.sys.mjs:380:18

   _onError resource:///modules/Pop3Client.sys.mjs:380

pop3.server1.3: SecurityError info: SSL_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT Pop3Client.sys.mjs:422:20

   _onError resource:///modules/Pop3Client.sys.mjs:422

Welcome to the modern age, but sorry you had to give up OS/2.

Have you seen https://support.mozilla.org/mk/questions/1391967 ?

Thanks for the reply. I read the issue, and tried Manage Certificates, and I don't see any server certificates. I'm using SSL Normal Password, so I'd expect to see a certificate.

I checked the OS/2 system, and Thunderbird 38 has a certificate from the mail server. I don't know how to get Thunderbird 128 on Red Hat to ask for the certificate.
