Open the Address Book window. Make sure the Directory Pane is showing on the left margin. View-Layout-Directory Pane Select the folder of the address book you want to move contacts FROM so it displays in the main window. Select the contact or contacts to move. Hold the control key while clicking contacts to select more than one. Drag the selected contacts to the new book folder and drop them there. I am not sure you can move lists between books since the contact has to exist in the address book that the list is created in. You can try the drag and drop method and see if it works for you. It is simple to create lists. Click New List button and name the list. Close the dialog box to save it. Now drag and drop contacts to the list folder to add them to the list. If the list folder does not display in the directory pane, click the small pointer beside the address book folder to expand the display and show the list folder.
