I want to make a desktop shortcut for firefox. As directed, I attempted to slide the little round icon onto the desktop. This new shortcut points to internet explorer instead of firefox. How can I make a shortcut to firefox?

But I don't want firefox to be the default. I just want a shortcut to firefox. I share the desktop with others. He uses firefox; I use chrome. We have different bookmarks. We rarely use internet explorer but that is what the shortcut points to. I just want a firefox shortcut.

I tried that. When I open firefox, on the first page, the website favicon (which I suppose is the little round thing) is orange and there is word firefox next to it. When I open the next tab, the icon is grey and looks like it does on the website instructions, but I can't move it. I can't drag it anywhere. When I drag the little orange one, I get internet explorer.
