Without a Logitech device detector, will my current Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard still work if I install Firefox 5.0?

I want to upgrade to Firefox 5.0, but noted that it does not support the add-on Logitech device detection. If I download now, will my currently wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard still work?

I hope that this may help some of you...

My Logitech K750 wireless keyboard has worked fine without any problems on each of two computers which I operate. I installed the Logitech software but then uninstalled it due to some compatibility issues and found the K750 worked fine without any known problems. The *only* problems experienced was when combining the two computers via an ATEN cs682 KVM!! ATEN informed me that they will look into this software problem.

I have since reverted to using a wired "Cherry" keyboard and wired HP Voodoo mouse but this is only to enable me to operate the PC's via the KVM.
