TB incorrect messages time at terminal server

TB at terminal server, different users work in different time zones, so server has option to receive users timezone from users local machine and time of letters displayed perfectly untill updated to 60.3.1 version. now letters receive global servers timezome option. if change global TZ by admin and restart TB at users desktop letters change their time. dont prefer downgrades so how to fix TB to receive users own timezone? at screen letter received an hour ago, but time is the future for this letter. for the global servers timezone this is correct time, but not for user.

How does the terminal server "get" the local timezone for Thunderbird to use. I have Zero experience with terminal server, but I was always led to believe the TS created a desktop environment for the user, so what time does that desktop environment offer to the user?

TS receives timezone from your local machine by RDP redirection in group policy "allow time zone redirection" for non-admin users. it offers users local time

I am not aware of any changes beyond the addition of an option to use Application locale and regional locale for formatting date and time that might even be related. It might be worth changing that, just in case the time zone is coming across as well, not just the formatting.

Otherwise you might want to check what the TS session reports for the TZ variable as Thunderbird will, or always has, used it in preference if it is set on a windows box.

i dont whant to change anything in TS options 'cause other mail clients receive TZ correctly. besides TB downgrade to 52.9.1 fixed the problem. this means that in new versions something changed in code regarding TZ receiving for letters. waiting for normal version...

It might be a long wait. You are the first person to report an issue. As you appear to think waiting will fix whatever it is you think is wrong I doubt it will ever get "fixed"

You are welcome to file a bug report, but unless you are prepared to be involved in the resolution process I doubt any progress will be made. There is no Microsoft Terminal server sitting around for a developer to reproduce you issue.

i haven't found any exact steps to do... i don't think it is a bug but feature and programmers should know the part of code or option they changed. still waiting for changed back option...
