I have not synced my Firefox account in sometime. I no longer use the email address that was associated with the account. What is the work around so that I keep my account information but change my email? At present, it is attempting to sync with an email account that no longer exists. Actually, I think the email does exist but it is under another user. Creating more of an issue.

Resetting the sync password, or changing its e-mail, will remove all data from the servers.

This is a security feature. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information

  • I've lost my Firefox Sync account information - What to do
  • I’ve forgotten, or don't have access to, my Firefox Account email address

I suggest you remove your current sync account and create a new one.
